Grade for drainage—not appearance alone
A surface can look smooth while still sending water toward a structure or creating a new low spot. We plan grades around practical discharge routes, structures, driveways, walls and surrounding properties. When grading alone is not enough, the project can include catch basins, solid pipe, French drains or erosion-control measures.
Finish with sod, hydroseed or erosion protection
After the site is shaped, exposed soil needs a stabilization plan. Turf Dogs can install sod for an immediate lawn, hydroseed larger areas or use erosion-control blankets where slope and runoff require added protection during establishment.
Can you clear an overgrown residential lot?
Yes, depending on vegetation, access and disposal needs. Send photos and the property address so we can determine the appropriate equipment and site visit.
Can grading fix standing water?
Grading can correct many surface-flow problems, but saturated soil or limited outlets may require a drainage system in addition to reshaping the land.
Do you prepare soil for new sod?
Yes. Lawn preparation may include removal, grading, soil amendment, final smoothing and coordinated sod or hydroseed installation.
