A patio designed for the way you use the yard
We start with the finished purpose of the space: dining, seating, grilling, entertaining, a fire-pit area or a better path between parts of the property. Layout, paver scale, color and border details are coordinated with the home and surrounding landscape.
Paver projects
- Round and rectangular patios
- Walkways and front-entry paths
- Raised patios and integrated retaining walls
- Fire-pit seating areas
- Steps, landings and driveway transitions
- Landscape and low-voltage lighting integration
The base is what protects the finish
Pavers need a stable, compacted foundation and controlled water movement. Turf Dogs handles excavation, aggregate placement, compaction, bedding, paver installation, edge restraint, joint stabilization and final grading as a complete sequence.
Drainage and lighting can be built in
If runoff crosses the proposed patio or surrounding grades hold water, we can incorporate grading, channel drains, catch basins or French drains into the plan. Low-voltage step and accent lighting can also be installed before finished areas are closed.
Can you match pavers to my home?
We can review color blends, shapes and patterns that coordinate with the brick, siding, roof and existing hardscape features.
Can a patio be built on a slope?
Often, yes. Sloped sites may require excavation, steps, retaining walls or a raised patio system to create a stable, usable area.
Can you replace the surrounding lawn afterward?
Yes. Sod, grading, beds, river rock, drainage and lighting can be included to complete the space around the new patio.
